its hard to ignore the romantic undertones that the author is clearly giving taegu's character but im gonna ignore it bec i think his character was alrdy fleshed out even if he wasnt a romantic interest and it would have been fine if they just kept up his older brother/uncle role in the story. honestly its such a disservice to taegus character and development to have him interpret his guilt for lust/love when clearly he just cares for yeongwoon esp knowing what he went thru and just wants to makeup for all the times he turned a blind eye. he wasnt the most interesting character at first but after awhile i got attached bec his role in the story is something that really hits home. the last thing i want to do is take pity for debt collectors, because trust me if they want to they can really drive you to the darkest places (even if youre not even the one who owes the debt and are just collateral) but i understand why taegu did what he did and why his personality is like that. anyways other than that i like how the author chose to portray this very heavy topic. definetely hit a few chords though and probably wont reread this when i finish... just because

finally caught up after marinating this for like 2 years WOW love the story progression it did NOT dissapoint like so many others. like the magic and their actions make sense for once? and theyre blessedly not annoying characters that make u wanna rip all ur hair out. even the ones that are bad/antagonists they have good reasons for turning out that way. im still itching to know what the hell is up with that emily rose wannabe. i think its the first time an isekai manhwa has genuinely given be the heebie jeebies lol the horror was done so well i actually screamed wtf when THAT scene came up iykyk
