Yeah, I basically skipped whole chapter for my mental health and well-being
So everybody has been hating on the FL for being weak and a crybaby, and
I’m here to say—you’ll regret that hate.
Spoiler alert:
In the novel, the FL has an incredibly tragic life. She was mentally and physically abused by her parents to the point where she developed body dysmorphia and severe PTSD. Her mother groomed her into believing she was a hideous monster. As a child, she was kidnapped and almost assaulted—twice: once as a teenager and once as an adult. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
As for the male lead, don’t judge him for being a “red flag,” “gray flag,” or whatever label you want to put on him. As some of you may have guessed, he actually regressed in time. In the first timeline, after returning from war, he discovered that the only person he ever loved and cherished had been beheaded for his sake. I won’t even go into the horrific details of what happened to her body afterward.
The ML took revenge—his basically went like : “Let the world burn. I’ll let the world burn for you.” And then he did everything in his power to bring her back. (Traumatizing)
So yeah, this story is really heavy. And if, after all this, you still hate the FL? “There’s the door, b*tch.”
IF I CAN'T LIVE IN A WORLD WHERE SHE IS MY WIFE, THAN I WILL CHANGE THE WORLD (▰˘◡˘▰)
Are we actually reading the same webtoon? Because I’ve seen some people say that the FL is portrayed as the savior. Like, what? The real savior is Isha Khan—he saves the girl he loves and his people.
I think the whole point of this story is to highlight what stereotyping people looks like and how wrong it is. Am I the only one who noticed how the author shows the Kukrans as an advanced society? They have gender equality, they’re the best warriors, they have a rich culture, and they enjoy luxuries that even the Estians envy.
Meanwhile, the supposedly "superior" Estians can't even manage their own internal issues and still treat women like marriage material. Don’t you see who the author is actually holding in higher regard? And who’s portrayed as the true hero in this story?
Bro , the build up is so natural, and here I was doubting how it would work between those two
You know what?! I am big fan of post-apocalyptic genre, especially when it's about zombies, and what I've learned after years of being a fan is that stay away from humans and of course zombies, but especially from humans . It never ends well.
F*ck it , I WILL NOT LOWER MY STANDARDS, if I won't have what they have , than I don't want a man
I thought the "Fantasy" tag was referring to the fact that men like him don't exist in real life, welp I was wrong
I hope this doesn't come off as hate, because I really do love the artist's style—the colors, the characters' faces, and their eyes especially. But I feel like the body shapes could use some improvement, since they seem a bit stiff and not very flexible ┗( T﹏T )┛
After reading one chapter of this Manga I directly go to at least 10 chapters of other Mangas with green male leads. THIS MOTHERF*CKER RED ML IS TOO SEXY FOR ME, I NEED REMAINDERS TO STAY ON A GREEN SIDE. HEEEELP
When I grow up, I want to become AkuMakira, my hero (▰˘◡˘▰)
Kids remember!! It's okay, if he is a character, but run , without looking back, if he's real
