The prince fell in "love" immediately
Despite how suspicious blue snake is, not to mention while he's nice most of the time, he flies off the handle constantly
Not to mention he basically ignores all his subordinates when they are only trying to keep him alive
And I won't be able to take any love plot seriously between them ever, because white hair prince might be in love (debatable, more like he feels guilty for the war and thinks treating blue snake nice will lessen his guilt), but blue snake only likes the guy because he's not abusing him like his family does. He idolizes the one guy who treated him in a vaguely human manner. I could write an entire essay on how messed up the psychology of this story is.
I really should have looked at the author before I started reading, I've been down this cliff before
