okayyyy I see a lot of readers hating Grayson, and yes that is perfectly valid like I agree with the hate esp in Kiss me if you can novel version, it's clear as day how much of a disgusting bully Grayson is esp during their childhood...but.......
After reading Desire me if you can (novel ver w/c focuses on Dane and Grayson's story that's now complete with 210 chapters), you'll get to well sort of understand better how Grayson is, again it is to understand how he is and not to validate how he is.
It's mentioned in Kiss me if you can how Grayson simply imitates emotions and actions based on how he considers a usual people should react on certain situations, now in Desire me if you can it is much discussed how their parents (Alpha Father: Ashley-dominant Alpha and Omega Father: Koi/Connor-extreme omega) have had it while raising all of their 6 children, w/c they express was so handful to handle LOL. Funny thing abt Ashley and Koi, is that Koi(yes the dominant omega father)originally wanted 12 kids and Ashley(dominant alpha) wanted just 1 cause he's reluctant that his Miller genes or more specifically his parents' genes especially Dominic's, would be passed on to his kids and he expects it to be quite a probable problem in the future(w/c is true LOL), so somehow they meet halfway and settled with 6 kids hahaha
Firstly here's the synopsis of the 1st gen's story for better understanding on the further story:
1st Gen:
Eat me up if you can (Haven't read yet and I don't plan to, but based on the summary and spoilers I've seen, this is just dark like much darker than all dark manhwas and novels I've read)
Dominic Miller - Dominant Alpha (obsessive mf and ruthless walking black flag)
Ashley (Juliet) Dawson - Gamma(don't know much abt gamma but it is said to be someone who can't be affected by pheromones, pretty much like a beta but with a superiority in ranking similar to extreme alphas) who was forcefully mutated to turn into Omega (manipulative and sooooo obsessed with power pretty much like Baek Ahjin of Dear X, also a walking black flag)
- Basically Juliet(Ashley Dawson is much referred with this nickname) is so hungry of power to w/c he's willing to do literally anything just to rise up in ranks and to make his parents proud. And this caused him to manipulate Dominic and make him fall for him, and the mf on the other hand did fall for his manipulations like literal hard fall. Just as Dominic was preparing to propose to Juliet and all that supposed romantic shit, Juliet then dropped the bomb that he's getting married to someone who's much wealthy and powerful and that he just used Dominic as a stepping stone to achieve that goal. Wrong move Juliet LOL, so Dominic did an uno reverse card by saying he wants to meet Juliet one last time for like a proper closure and Juliet was like meh why not, but that's when Dominic broke down to the most ruthless obsessive mf he has become. He trapped and kidnapped Juliet, broke his ankle so he couldn't walk to escape, abused and him multiple times, mutated him to turn into an omega so he could carry his child (Ashley Miller- Chase and Grayson's Alpha Father, see Dominic's so obsessed with Juliet he names their son after him). Juliet made several suicid3 attempts but failed at first many tries until it was not clearly stated but like told in way that at some point he was successful enough to di3 and be free from his misery. Dominic then stayed beside his lifeless body and burned the whole mansion down to which their son Ashley described as the day their story has burned and turned into ashes that still haunts him at some point as their shadows still lingers in the present time.
I need to tell this story first cause it's like a link to some parts in Grayson's story or pretty much to the Miller brothers and sisters (3rd gen). Like see now how y'all understand why Ashley Miller just wanted to have 1 kid LOL.
