I kinda think I like the ending, for a bl who tackles such mundane and realistic topics a grand ending wouldn't have been fitting, instead we get a glimpse of their routine and their own version of a forever happy ending, with things still unresolved like his relationship with his brother and his thesis, cause that's just life, a never ending stream of things left to do.
