1. In the previous chapters, we knew that Taeha was frequently abused by Taehee. But in this chapter, we discover that Taeha has also fought back before. I assume that as he grew older, he started to show signs of rebellion against his older brother. Tired and used to the routine, it doesn’t surprise me that there came a moment when he finally snapped and crossed the line.
2. The woman shown is probably not Taeha’s mother — it wouldn’t make sense, otherwise he wouldn’t be constantly called “illegitimate” if his mother were married to the CEO. (I added more details in another comment I posted earlier.)
3. The man who appeared is most likely a stalker. I could be wrong, but based on the way he speaks and acts, he gives off that vibe. First, he was watching Haesoo from outside the store the entire time, and at first he seemed friendly when asking about her. Second, his facial expression changed the moment Haesoo’s coworker said she was seeing someone. He seems like the typical guy who tries to come off as nice when asking for a number, but his personality shifts the second he’s rejected. I get the feeling he’ll be a slight threat to Haesoo in the upcoming chapters. I say “slight” because, thankfully, she has Taeha to protect her.
4. Haesoo’s coworker is definitely jealous of her. Some people say maybe she just didn’t mention anything because she didn’t want to ruin Haesoo’s good mood, but I don’t think that’s the case. If she were that type of person, she wouldn’t have said what she did back in the earlier chapters — when she first pointed out that Taeha seemed interested in Haesoo and then joked that someone as young as him wouldn’t be into an older woman like her. I don’t think she’s a truly horrible person, but people forget that someone can have flaws without being bad. She definitely cares about those around her, but clearly one of her flaws is that when she feels envious, she lets it show and can make unpleasant remarks. Let’s say, in this case, she was worried — but the moment she heard someone praise Haesoo, her concern faded. Still, I’m sure that if she were certain that man was dangerous, she would’ve spoken up. She probably just thought it wasn’t a big deal.
5. Haesoo finally started to question Taeha, and I was really waiting for that moment to come. After all, disinterest is one of the things that drives people apart. And that’s exactly what Taeha wanted from Haesoo — for her to show more interest in him. He wants her to ask him questions, because that shows she cares. Not to mention, Mincheol doesn’t even know where Haesoo works. That’s how deep his disinterest runs.
People say it was a boring chapter — I don’t agree. It gave us a lot of information about what’s to come:
- A strange man showed interest in Haesoo. Possibly a stalker, and we may see vulnerable moments where she feels more comfortable around Taeha if he ends up protecting her in a dangerous situation.
- We’re getting more insight into Taeha’s work environment — what he does, what people think of him, and his future prospects.
- More details about how Taehee views and understands Taeha.
- I feel like as the chapters go on, the unfavorable situations and Haesoo’s growing curiosity about Taeha will help strengthen their relationship.
May I be wrong but I don't think that woman was Taeha's mom.
Supposedly, Taeha is the result of an affair between the CEO and a mistress, which is why he's called a bastard. It wouldn't make sense for his mother to be married to the CEO — if that were the case, then where would Taehee's mother be? Taehee is the one supposedly considered the legitimate son, and it makes sense that he acts superior.
Think of it this way: it would be strange for Taehee to behave so confidently if the woman married to the CEO were Taeha's mother.
An alternative would be: Taehee's mother died and the CEO married another woman — but even so, it’s still strange, because if that’s the case, why do they keep calling him illegitimate?
Who's that character that doesn't make u feel like marriage is scary if ur married to them
Pls i wanna have a good laugh
Give me your opinion on today’s media and what you like/dislike about it. When I say media I’m referring to comics/books mainly but this can be about shows, movies, music etc.
Unique plot doesn't have to be stories with entirely new features introduced, it could just be an addition made to the preexisting genres/themes too. Personally would say 'The broken ring, this marriage will fail anyways', it's a regression theme but done in a pretty unique way(novel readers would know), the theme not being my favourite but since......

I don't think Joobin is gonna fuck him. He won't do it in the next chapter so I don't think the author plans to switch roles.
