Urgh so frustrated. Sogo wanted to be "deathbringer" while kissing ass to the nine sects, which made no sense. She should have pitched the 2 sects into competitors to keep the balance and fool the nine sects. I mean the death sect got ruined because it got too much attention and didnt comply with the greater sects. She thought her new sect can get the attention too while complying with other sects? Then what is the whole point of her ambition to become the "deathbringer"???
The annihilation of the death sect was because of her order to provoke and kill the disciples from the other sect WITHOUT any prior notice to the death sect, JUST to promote her silent moon sect. Now, shes asking all the question what should she do, why is the MC making this an even bigger problem for her. And there i thought theres supposed to be some kind of bigger scheme she's working on to sacrifice one successful sect and launch her own sect. During the whole time he was busy making a name for his sect, this woman has done nothing but let her underling train other prostitutes to seduce then kill. (It was only 1 underling, i dont know wth the 2 others were doing but then it doesnt seem like she knew either lol). If her plan is to sacrifice one sect from the start, why cant she just tell the mole guy to make a horrible sect. At least then, she can make a name for herself to kill that guy.
I cant understand her logic to keep the snake under her wing while sacrificing the most useful and loyal underling, and yet the entire fully funded sect with talented assasins and information network. Like WTFFFF??? It didn't cost her a damn dime or efforts to do all of this. Excuse me, I would go to kill her already if I was the MC at this point. Every single damn time she or her other underlings got into trouble, the MC has to come to rescue and clean up the mess.
I understand that they are trying to show that the MC is more suitable to be "the deathbringer" but man I really need to vent out my frustration in the comment section. I don't know where its going to go from here tho, considering the only thing holding the MC back is actually his duty and responsibility with his father. In the recent chapters, it seems like his father had agreed to free him from that duty but i really doubt that when Sogo has once again gotten into trouble. His family got way too many deathflags because of this woman already.
Other than that, great story and dynamics. Not too focus on martial arts but more about the schemes between different gangs in the murim society, which is greatttt, cant complain at all. Wasn't able to find any stories like this for a long time. Kinda remind me of another story named "Historie" for anyone who are looking for intelligent MC character. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
