Guys.. I think what she afraid off the most is suddenly be drag in some ally and rape.
Nobody can be at her aide 24/7. So why not consult ir family. Maybe move to a better housing area. And try not too look like a weak person.
Take a defense class...make sure u bring paper spray and siren with u all the time. Buff up ur strength.
