I really enjoyed the story overall and the relationship between Sica and Karsus, but I have to agree with most that the ending was very rushed and just... meh? Sica loosing her beast powers like that was so disappointing and honestly very out of place. It feels like the author just wanted to make her fully "human", even though the story focused on telling her she was fine just the way she was.

I wish there was an after story where we followed Laurence and the dragon in beast world adventures - it sounds more fun and interesting!
