People hate anything women do really...anyways ain't no damn baby is wearing them bigg ass skirts (respectfully, they look awesome)... for me i thought they were childish till my late teens coz barbie, princess, dolls and ballet was specifically targeted towards kids/young teen girls in my country...and through out childhood i have heard it is not ......
