I like both the first and second couple but if I’m honest it just feels like nothing is going on with the first couple anymore.
It's feels like that indeed... but I think it's because of the nature of the 2 couples like the first MLs preferred to take it easy and are mutual while He×Mo is more open and mature. Also, this is unlike any Manhua, Manhwa, or Manga that puts everything in DETAIL... rather each chapter is just like a Glimpse of their lives about anything Big and Relevant for storyline. Maybe that's why there's a lot more fan service for sec MLs because it's more open and mature than the first MLs who's still working on it mutually. I mean there's basically not much going on with such couples but small fluff things... and the way I see it, the author most likely is trying to gain more, or simply spoiling, readers and hyping them with more mature content. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
