If you're saying forks can't taste anything aside from cakes, then how would they Ven know that they taste "sweet"? I mean... supposedly they can't taste anything right? I would get it if she had some kind of trouble or traumatic situation in the past, but what she did or said will never be justified or considered reasonable. Fine, she is a teacher. Her need to be concerned or protective of her students is also acceptable. It's given because she is indeed their teacher, even more so as their homeroom teacher.
