I dont like harem or reverse harem in anime or manga (most of them). Some might say that reverse harem is more interesting but i feel like the girls are basicaly doing the same thing as the guys... so what is the point. Anyways i would like to know your toughts, if u agree or disagree and why.
I think it's not so much about disliking (reverse/) harem but rather disliking the storylines and archetypes that go with those genres. There actually are some reverse harems that did a good job utterly destroying those stereotypes, like https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/beware_of_the_villainess/ (first part of the story) or https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/miss_not_so_sidekick/ ; I don't have examples that come to mind with harems. But let's be honest, it's mostly because I avoid those, so there probably are some good harems too... At least 1 where the sister (or half-sis, or cousin) isn't in love with the MC :facepalm: So yeah... It's mostly the characters and the plots that make me go away, not the genre itself.

Yes!! I agree with the storylines part. I´ve also read Beware of the Villainess and I liked it. Now Chitra tough... I dropped it. I liked the beginning and I tought despite the reverse harem the romance would be more between her and the butler. BUT then she would take turn to kiss each of the other guys and as the story progressed she started to act more and more like a man.Σ( ￣□￣||)

omgg, same! i don't really like harems cuz they're annoying me(￣∇￣"). Harem always ruining the plot in my opinion
