ch 156 is a riff on idol-fanbases. mikorin, resident otaku, has an interest in idol media (he plays an idol-based gacha game in one or two of the chapters) so he brings in his biases when talking to kashima and it influences the rest of the cast. "stanning", the fans, and the general idea of marketing and favoritism to a specific person is all rooted in the nature of idol fandoms!!

also hak there’s absolutely no reason at all to keep blocking the dragon like that world is already collapsing, yona stabbed the dragon hence it got a lot weaker. for me it was unnecessary sacrifice in that situation.
