I just went back to chaoter one to read it again to make sure if that could happen but he clearly said "I'll still marry her since that's what Yumin wants and tell her I love her since she saved my family" you can't misunderstand that. And the fact that when they broke up he was just like ok cool. You did not love her like she loved you, you would have fought for her, and he is clearly just having "guy break-up" (where after a timeframe of thinking yeah that happend but I'm good, and weeks later are like, I think i miss you, because they didn't start the "its over process spiral" until then, when they girl already did and is over you). Let her live her life, the relationship was already bad when you went out with her to pay her back in general
