I love this so far, it's so realistic in the sense of how dark I imagine those times to be, you can see it in how opressed Anette lives, any mistake John might make would have been Anettes fault, rather all the males here trample over her and it's her fault, so everyone saying she is weak seems pretty dumb to me, she is an actual victim of years of abuse, unlike other stories set in this time where the female leads suddenly grow genius brain??? Lmao so unrealistic the second time they get to live they are so OP.....and an insane plot armor out of absolutly nowhere, we see Anette trying to save the one thing that she loves, John, in the only way she knows how in this male opressing time, and sadly her protection comes with no power, since from birth, she has none.
This is a read that should not be for everyone, it's obviously for people who can handle darker themes, but it's so far, a masterpiece, from narration, to characters and setting. So thrilling.
Gonna read just for the guy, the FL is just terrible, I can understand feeling bad about yourself and envy, but she goes all the way to actually act like a constant victim (in regular conversations) and mistreat her friend who tries to support her, just awful. What an ugly personality, can't even make me feel bad for her.

And Kumi has a pretty ugly personality. She knows what her friend is going through but dresses up like her so that the FL gets compared to her. Yet. Again. She's the one who is conventionally attractive and benefits from it. She is the one who shouldn't be half-arsed and try to make an effort. But nope even in her mind only victims need to do that. I guess what the ML is saying really doesn't apply. An ugly personality does NOT make for a conventionally unattractive outer appearance. Whoops.

Arth is so lovely, just seeing him go from someone who can't express his feelings to be actually honest to the point of looking smooth is so adorable I love him sm.
In an ideal world she would take Rebecca, Naska and Arth to be her harem lol, but I quite like it if she ends up with Arth... he has done absolutly everything to try and save her and make her life easier while advicing her on being more honest herself.
Hope there isn't any more bad blood between Rebecca and Arth... even though I feel aeful for her seeing as if she was a guy she would be able to be head of her family, practice the sword AND be able to ask for Sasha's hand in marriage like Arth ;; so sad, let her be happy.

Well... polygamy is not always everyone with everyone though? Sometimes it's more of an open relationship, where they agree on one person dating two for example (with those two people knowing and not having feelings for each other and only for the one they "share"), sorry english isn't my main lenguage so idk if I'm explaining it correctly, they don't all have to have feelings for each other for a poly relationship, that's not an stablished ruled from what I've learned.

I'm betting on that he is suppoused to be the reverse case of his cousin (tries to push her away even though he is in love with her for his volleyball career), in the sense of him staying in the family buisness JUST TO GET HER, he probably doesn't care about anything else loo, so he abandons any career dreams to get the girl.
I have always loved this artists works, they just tingle my soul in such a gothic romantic way... I have been findin myself reading Pellua Iyagi many times already (the chapters that are translated) but still couldn't quite figure the puzzle... since the author always uses this light way writing style (sometimes with comedy) to avert you from the main issue.
But I feel like finally I understand why Orthez choose Felluah, why she chose Arthur, it was all thanks to Nox, she had quite clearly been influenced to the point of following him, she was probably going by the promise of visiting him. "What is there in Felluah. Nothing. Nox".
She probably knew everything being such a social butterfly about Arthurs situation, him being in love with another and probably saw it as a good buisness relationship, at least a marriage of convnience were both could take something from it, never to fall in love. Ofcourse never quite expecting he would end up falling for her quite like that persuing her endlessly. And now she is a mess. Denying herself of her own afections.
Getting to ger original goal of meeting Nox again, she looks anguished more than happy, taking a step backwards while he took a stepforward. After all she kept her promise and he too is probably gonna try and keep his.
I could be wrong because this author has proven to destroy my theories endless times, but this is what I gather from the complexity that is reading Pellua Iyagi. Hope Arthur and Orthez a happy ending with not much to drama, god knows i can handle so much.
