I'm losing more and more interest and feel so disconnected from the plot.
I really liked the intriguing start, and I basically know all of the major plot points right until the end due to spoilers.
I really like where the story went in the end, but that's literally been my only driving force for the past 100 or so chapters. I can't even get into the more emotional situations or characters at all, because I'm so uninterested in the scenarios. It's practically the same reason why I disliked Tower of God. I won't say the scenarios are repetitive since every scenario is different, but it makes the story feel... stale, I guess, stagnating, or whatever you may call it. Dokja repeatedly dying and coming back definitely feels repetitive by now, though, and it honestly just makes me roll my eyes when it happens.
And not only did I completely lose track of any sort of power scaling, but I don't see how clearing scenario after scenario would help Dokja reach his end goal. It feels too much like side questing to me. I guess I'm just generally not a fan of this type of story progression.
Maybe I need to just reread it at a later point to really get into the world again, but right now I feel so immensely disconnected that I just can't enjoy any of it. Maybe the story is too complex and convoluted for me to read it while chapters are still releasing (on top of the countless other manhwas I'm still reading and english not being my native language) . I already forgot a LOT and that's why I can barely make sense of many things going on right now, idrk.
Or maybe despite liking philosophical and deep stories, this one just isn't for me.
Oh maybe it really is not ur type of story I've been reading since the start and its so good Talalia
I will definitely let it marinate a lot for now and come back when it's close to the end
If it still doesn't click then it's really just not for me it seems, which would be unfortunate, because I like how the author made things come together later and the whole premise
I know the whole scenario thing isn't to my taste, but I don't want that to be the only reason to not enjoy the story, so I hope binge reading it would make it more enjoyable, because with the amount of characters constantly introduced through the scenarios I have a hard time keeping track of them if I take long breaks in between chapters
Honestly, as someone who read the novel and even AO3 fanfics, this is not a story to be read with a periodic update. Even reading all at once I got bored at certain arcs.
