I think it's better if he just end up with the beta friend since he likes him more and omega should let go of the alpha since he doesn't want to get marked or imprint anyway. Cuz at the end, he's still favor the beta and just use the alpha during his heat. (Just some thoughts, base on reading a lot of love triangle plots)
