I agree with you.I don't usually prefer romance in this type of story but for it's different depends on the girl.Haein is strong and can protect herself.She's different than the first girl(b class healer girl)who always needs protection.Also,our jinwoo is dense so I don't expect him to be affected that much by the romance(if you know what i mean).

Sorry I might be the only one who felt like this but spin-off is so obviously made just for thirsty Jihyun fans his problem wasn't just the rape it was him wanting Chiwoo just for himself and slowly making others stay away from Chiwoo he was literally chaining him to himself his mentality was not healthy his actions were not healthy and if he wasn't this good looking more than half of his fans wouldn't have become his fans and you can't prove me otherwise yeah he is feeling bad but he felt this way after losing him so he didn't even think what he was doing/feeling was wrong of he didn't r*pe him and they stayed together I don't think he would've changed his mindset being away from Chiwoo is what made him a kinda decent human being AND SOME OF YOU HATE KYUJIN??? why because he RESPECTS him he LOVES him some even said he wasn't wild enough YOU THINK CHIWOO NEEDS A WILD MAN IN HIS LIFE AFTER ALL THAT SH*T Kyujin was a good thing to happen in Chiwoos life and he IS wild in the bed but apparently you want him to be wild outside the bed too which is NOT SO GOOD

1. He was already going to release the healer even if Baek didn't ask him to because as I remember he respected the healer or something very similar
2. Hunter Association releases a statement saying they made Jinwoo stay behind because he was inexperienced so he wouldn't get hate comments (he stayed behind so his mother wouldn't be worried as soon as she wokes up)
3. During the funeral when he arrives paparazzi makes a ruckus which makes him angry and he releases a little of his magic power/bloodlust and everyone goes back to being dead silent
There were more wholesome moments like this but I can't remember it now I'll add if I remember

True, I remembered because it was the first time he seemed clingy when mc told him he was gonna leave. Then he came to visit him and saw him laughing with his friends and he turned away, that's when he met the other guy on the bus. This story is going in a lot of different directions, I'm so lost frustrated at how all these events are loosely strung together.
For real this manga kinda makes me exhausted it has too many elements but none of them are main like yeah he is a merman also childhood friend also f*ckbody also colleague also under a curse also getting bullied by the other like one or two is enough but all of them together is just too much
