This is me revisiting my theory of Guwon being an experiment/not human. Back in like chapter 5 I had posted a comment on this exact thing because Gueon always gave me a sense of disconnect, it’s like he knows what morals are but doesn’t really understand them yet still tries to apply them.
Back in chapter 1 you can see it’s like he rose from the earth and it was so weird, there is no way the author added that in just for a cool entrance, it’s def hinted. I have to wander what his motive for making a town is though, he clearly hasn’t interacted with other people a whole lot before, so why would such a strong guy decide to get people together to create a town? He doesn’t really understand them so why should he care? My theory is that he is trying to get a sense of normalcy from the things he does know about humans and try to experience it himself since he couldn’t do so BEFORE the apocalypse

Yeyeyeye ngl at the very start when I saw him rise from the ruble I thought he was going to be like an underworlds god thing but it makes more sense that he is like part zombie or smth lolololol. He was either patient zero or created from the zombies.

I do see where you are coming from but to me, Iltak is just trying to get forgiveness to safe his own hide rn. Yes he does have internalized homophobia but he is still selfish and self centered, the way he was pretty on board to use Hyunwoo to his own gain… I’m not much of a fan BUT he did have enough shame to come clean to him (even if it was bc he didn’t want to get romantic with Hyunwoo).
