From I've seen, Han Maru and Greed Rakshasa had a good symbiosis. Greed Rakshasa held Maru in high regard and he/she felt enraged that Maru was dying. Their relationship is very much like Naruto and Kurama/Nine-Tailed Fox post-war arc.
