wait so what was the whole scene with eren and armin in the first part of the last chapter???? like when did that happen???
hi so i dont know exactly when the scene at the beginning happened, but i think it was when the whole gang was on the ship to marley and they were tryna go to eren to stop the rumbling? so basically yk how eren has the ability to speak to all eldians using the paths? well thats what he did with armin. he basically visited armin (before the final fight where eren is killed in marley) so he could explain to armin why he decided to do the rumbling and why he said that stuff to mikasa hence the conversation at the beginning. afterwards, eren erased armin's memories of that conversation and set it so that he would only remember it AFTER eren died. it is also implied that he visited all of the surviving 104th squad through the paths and also erased their memories until he died. he did this so that they wouldn't have anything stopping them from killing him.
