ririko was sleeping with the yakuza guy and touma a lot before she met sentarou. despite that, she was in love with the yakuza guy and got heartbroken when he left for dubai. so when she realized that sentarou was also in love with someone and got his heart broken (even though he never confessed in the first place), she decided to go out with him because he was more innocent and cared about her. from the beginning, when she got pregnant, she wanted sentarou to be the father even if he wasnt because she knew he would actually care about megaru.
i think involving touma into the equation was ririko's way of giving sentarou his happy ending, because she eventually realized that that touma was the one that sentarou was in love with. so even though she could have just said it was sentarous child (because he would've agreed to raising megaru regardless of if touma was there or not), she said it was either sentarou or touma's child to get them to spend time together, almost like shes apologizing for being a bad girlfriend and leaving him with a kid who obviously isnt his.
the yakuza guy is megaru's bio dad and also, ririko was probably not actually lying when she said megaru's dad was in dubai or something, because she knew the yakuza guy was the dad.
+ sentarou was never actually in love with ririko. he always liked touma more, but chose to go out with ririko because he knew he wouldn't have a chance with touma. the reason why he cares about her so much is because hes a naturally kind and selfless person unlike touma, so really had more of an affection/friendshio towards ririko than romantic feelings.

You know that feeling when you go into a show, manga, or book fully expecting that one ship to be canon because of all the obvious subtext… only to find out they aren’t? Yeah. If you couldn’t tell, I finally finished Supernatural. :)))))) Anyways, what ship has betrayed ya'll? I am dying to know :)

What second lead are you glad that didn't win the MC in the end?

I was really rooting for her! Even though most of the comments were saying how she got nerfed & they didn’t like her, I still did! I had some semblance of hope that she’d eventually become a badass again. But now, even I’m getting fed up with the mc & the plot in general. Did we just forget that she supposedly still wants her previous power? What happened to looking for the mana(?) stones??? But nooo, we’re stuck dealing with palace politics instead and her acting a fool. Chapter 33 REALLY pissed me off lmao. Especially at the end when she says “No matter what reason the Grand Duke has, I’ll make sure he sees me!” HUHHHH??? Girl stand up. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧

I used to like school romance, but when I got older, my tastes definitely changed, I realized that I like mature love better. Can someone recommend me some stories with the same genre or like flow of the story? I also like green flags, please don’t recommend something with a red flag or a lot of miscommunication. Lol I like something that just have enough to stir my heart.

1. The 8th Battalion are all alive. “Killing” them off was just a scheme set by the 2nd prince. Idk for what. But hey, at least Hart is alive & by the end of the novel they gain their freedom.

2. Consort(?) Charlotte & the 3rd prince are NOT villains. They’re on the good side. Charlotte actually wants the 2nd prince dead and supports our mc & ceres.

A little spoiler about charlotte: She was a priestess during the war, but got raped by the 2nd prince. The 3rd prince is actually his son, not the emperor’s. The reason why Charlotte became the emperor’s consort was to protect herself & her son from the 2nd prince who’s been trying to kill them.

3. Ceres is the missing 1st prince. He was trying to escape the constant assassination attempts at the palace but got caught by some human traffickers & was eventually sent to the 8th Battalion. So him being there wasn’t part of some grand scheme, it was purely coincidence.

4. When it’s eventually revealed that he’s the missing prince, Cere’s hair color goes back to platinum blonde that shows he’s royalty. He also regains his memories before this but I’m more concerned about his hair lol. I’m going to miss his black hair so much omg.

5. Diarin realizes she loves Ceres around this time & they date secretly. But when it’s revealed that she’s a Child of God (a person with so much divine power that their importance rivals the imperial family), they make their relationship public . And apparently, they’re so cute & romantic together.
