Can someone explain what the placeholder chapters are? Like why are they usually 3 chapters ahead? I’ve heard they help others not upload over them but I’m not sure how it works ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
They're indicative of how many chapters ahead the raws are. Any new placeholder is a new raw chapter. Placeholders started when the site started using(?) bots to I guess scan other sites and download new chapters from them and upload it here. I'm also guessing the bots are the ones with no member mention in the uploads here. But there are other members here who despite having people who upload officials, forcibly upload fan translations
Contn: By adding a placeholder, the bots won't auto upload a fan translation instead thinking the story is up to date
