So guy falls in love and his one tru love is sent to war bc of him - to keep her safe he gets into a 6 yr long relationship??? Breaks that relationship by suddenly showing up to a tea party with a another girl (!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK!!!!!), realises 'oh no, I love that girl(mc)' and regrets. Meanwhile, war girl comes back to see her one tru love whom she spent yrs at war for fell for someone else. Like does this guy not realise there were much easier ways of showing ur not that into someone in order to protect em? Like starting untrue rumours or sleeping around, pretending to be gay etc. just secretly buy a ton of news agencies, did bro forgot he has money? Did he forget he doesn't have to get with a noble, he can be with commoners and heavily pay em for pretending he's a dickhead playboy. Like I just feel like there were OPTIONS.
And this fl, what the hell. Why would u decide the best thing u can do is seduce the 'male lead'? When the king or whatever started threatening her she should have been all like 'well you know how things will go so u can stop it' or 'willing to help however I can' etc. NOT something so goddamn wishy washy as 'uhhhhhh ig ill make sure the ml and fl dont get together'.
Ngl I don't understand the King either bc ur telling me u kno the plot, u kno that ur brother is gonna overthrow u with the help of the fl, but ur plan is let this one unreliable girl (whos apparently meant to be powerful or whatever, but have yet to see any of that so far) make him fall in love with her in the hopes she'd be like a collar for ur brother????? World's stupidest plan I have ever heard. Like bsffr that is what the plan is to make sure he doesn't over throw u? And if her make him love her plot fails, the backup plan is assassinate the fl?
