I am a filipino, but I CRINGE everytime i see a comment in tagalog. We need to understand that this is the internet and people from other nations are on this site as well.
You need to understand too that not all filipino can fluently express their thoughts in English too. Sure, we grew up being taught in english, in fact almost all of our subjects are. But not all of us have that much confidence in speaking with it. A lot will only get more comfortable using it during college and afterwards. Good for you if your are able to, but please don't stop others from writing their thoughts and opinions if they can't speak in the language YOU want them to. And besides, you're basically including all the people who speaks other language than English.
And you know what's really cringey? When people like you thinks they're being "considerate" but ends up putting down their fellow countrymen. When you think your opinions means a lot and won't affect people when you say "I'm a ----, but--"
I could pretty much understand if it was others complaining about this (albeit still not excusable), but you? a "Filipino"?Stop. I'm ashamed to call you a fellow pinoy with that mindset. Let other people be able to freely express what they feel in way they think is the most effective. This is a freaking manga site for God's sake not some English/Literary Journals.

if you understand that there are ppl from other nations why are you putting down those who speak other languages? you aren't owed others speaking your preferred language just because you're uncomfortable.
