I agree but i mean anyone would be mad if they were blamed for something they didn’t do. Sure she did something nice and was trying to be helpful but she should have given it to him by hand or handed it to the teacher and tell the teacher that she was paying for his share not put it into his desk since misunderstandings will of course happen. And i could be wrong but i also think he doesn’t hate her but is more like jealous/envy of her. I forgot which chapter but it shows how the ml as a kid was watching the fl walk home with her parents while holding both of their hands and smiling. He obviously didn’t have that life. His grandfather abused him since he was “unwanted” his parents neglected him. The only one really there for him was his grandmother. He says/think he hate her but he really doesn’t if he really hated her then he wouldn’t have explored with her on their honeymoon or “worry” about/help her when it doesn’t benefits him. He would have continued ignoring her.
