Now that Ive read 140+ chapters I must say
well done to the Author
character development and a plot well structured has truly shined. I’m glad the characters of the strong acknowledge his aggressive actions and destructive way of dealing with things and how it may be quite the setback if he does not become more thorough with hid thinking and even he too has acknowledged it and realise that it is not always the most tactful way. I believe, him feeling the anguish of taking so many souls was well fitting for him to get a break through in his personality and through that he learnt and changed and finally stop pissing me off with his childish tendencies. It is now as the characters of the story say “he seems like a grand master” indeed hes acting as someone who has a head of grey hair and has mastered the way of Martial arts. Although i was quite displeased in the beginning, I’m glad i stuck with it because it developed and flowed extremely well; plot twist i did not see coming and arcs that had much to teach
this is a fine specimen of a story, throughout it i learned much especially from the sayings of the demon lord and ofcourse from following the emotional development of the MC. I really enjoyed it despite my initial annoyance with his arrogance and childishness but now he has become a fine tune sword, befitting of all the titles he is being called. This was 10/10 on everything. A wonderful Murim
i’m on chapter 56 n i seriously could wait till the end to say this but one thing that hella annoys me about this MC is aggressive brazen childish tendencies. Unlike in other manhwas where old masters of clans or heavenly alliance leader who got reincarnated in their second life; who act with humility because they know the power of it and steady with tactical power, THIS MC IS TOO DAMN HEAD ON. he indeed acts like an old assassin who was the dog of someone else bcz he does not handle situation like a master. now i understand it is of the demon cult way to act hardcore in everything but when he does it seems stupid considering this is actually an old man and not an actual young person
he lets his emotions get in the damnnn way of everything especially when its connected to his past life
and he is extremely arrogant and show off with other people and handles situations in the most brawling and brazen way. What kind of “king of assassin” is this ? isnt an assassin supposed to conceal everything about them selves down to their emotions and plans for the enemy ? the author should have definitely emphasise his character as an old master even more in how he handles situations and deals with his mission, it’s embarrassing to me when random starts going up to people face or just power up and start spazzing out
other people taking note of his maturity in the things he says and his insight on this and then him acting like a damn child when handling people is very oppositical
but maybe he will change
its kind of hard to wrap my head around the fact that it looks historical yet modern at the same time, at first i thought maybe this was in the 1800s of korea of somwhere around their but no, its clearly 2000s technology they are using yet it seems like a murim
i got kinda bored reading it, Theres not much to keep you entertained and the MC is rather generic

the art style change isnt that bad…this was a well written and thought out martial arts story, no loose ends
