Idk why but I kept on dodging this story FOR SO LONG. And ngl, because I was so suspicious of ML the whole fckng time, I'm punching the air when I was reading this. Even when he proposed, on his speech, damn right. At least u know he could do better than you. （￣へ￣）But in the end, he did grew on me. And I had to admit, yes, I do like him now. He's corny and sweet, but that's his strong point ╮(￣▽￣)╭ Do I think the misunderstandings could've been avoided? Yep def. Yesss. It leaves a really bad taste because for me, the highlight of the novel is literally the chasing arc, but they cut it back so much, it doesn't even make any sense anymore. I sure hope they draw the side stories at least, to make up for it. But I'm not expecting anything anymore after all that...

I still remember when s1 finished and I had to go thru that hiatus until s2. I decided to marinate it before I could pick it up again, and now it's alr finished lol. I re-read the whole thing cause I rly rly loved it so much when I first read the s1, but s2 rly went downhill for me. Idk, I expected the same lvl of writing at least as s1, but it's just... a little boring for me? For S2? Esp cause this has so much potential imo, more than it def let on. Art as good as ever, but hmmn, could have been better. Nonetheless, I still like it Ig. Props still. But if I were to re-read it in the future, I might def stop at the end of S1 or maybe a little of S2. Alsooooo! I'm confused. MC is with Sys in the end but how about his sister? I know MC's desire to live normally and all, but... he couldn't have cut off... his sister, right? So I just remember this romance manhwa where the emperor? Or king? Married fl? I think? And then the villain is this woman who thought all this time that she and ML are gonna get married someday, basically brainwashed by her parents since she's kid and that she gon be the empress. So when FL and ML got together, she was mad and tried to get in between them. What ML did to get rid of her is, marry her off to a foreign king and brainwashed her that she's married her to that guy for yrs already and had a child with him.
