In the near end of the story and the most frustrating part is that she didn't confess to them that the one she love back to her world is her mother and she's already dead so there's nothing left to her in that world. The misunderstanding is so frustrating in the novel's ending and I'm not really satisfied it.

I knew this was over the moment he said if he was his father he would break his mothers ankles so she couldn't get away. or smt like that. Well i still stayed so like it is serving everything that was ever hinted i guess.
He is insane, acting all that and still not really loving luce. Like what will happen to Luce after? Scared to even think about it. Rn he is showing signs of possessiveness in a way but later? Someone should take Luce to Vera like yesterday
He didn't know he likes Luce... Luce knows the prince likes him but needs to hear it from the prince's mouth. In the novel Luce was willing to forgive the prince if he will confess that he wants to be with Luce cause he likes him(Luce is either dumb or martyr). The prince was about to do it but chicken out... cause of the "what ifs" in his head. Then from that Luce yearning for freedom intensified.
