So before I pick up the manga I just wanna know if it’s based on a novel I’ve read before.

So from what I can remember from the novel a young emperor had some troubles but got help from a “friend” who wasn’t a king but was still called a king for some reason. Then this king went to the capital where the emperor lives and they get together and papapapp

Also, this king has a younger brother or something that is supposed to be really pretty, and an old master teacher person who are trying to get him to get together with the emperor.

Also, I think the emperor kept a peach blossom tree that he kept digging up and replanting again whenever he got mad. The tree was supposedly gifted to him by the “king”

Wow, my explanation is all over the place but this is basically all I remember.

Anyway, if somebody recognizes this can they please tell me the name of the novel and if this is the manga for the novel. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

I seems like Penelope is gonna end up with the crown prince huh.

Why am I even surprised. It’s always the crown prince. No matter how fucked up they are, it’s always the crown prince and never the knight…

Honestly kinda sad to see that since Eclis seem to hold Penelope on pedestal (which she intentionally made him do) when she isn’t interested in him at all. He’s too sweet for his own good.

I can’t be the only one that feels bad for the best friend. ╥﹏╥

It was a bad move to remove Seth’s headpiece. Now everybody will see his beauty and fall in love with him which will cause a lot of conflict ╮(￣▽￣)╭

Anyway, I’m really excited to see the adult version of Anubis. I can’t help but think that he looks a lot like Seth for some reason. Also really excited to see how Horus looks like. ヾ(☆▽☆)

The story started off pretty good but as it continued on I started to dislike the female lead. It began as a story of a young, independent and headstrong girl who wanted to escape her past and pave her own way. But it ended as a story of a young girl who tried to change her past self, change from being a guy crazed lady willing to do anything to be loved by a guy that despised her, only to then fail and still being in love with the guy who killed her.

Like what the actual hell? That’s not the ending I was expecting in the beginning nor was it an ending that I wanted to see. I would’ve rather seen her end up with Carsein, the dude who slowly fell in love with her and decided that he wanted to do his best to become a man worthy of her, but he didn’t even get a chance to confess!

ITS A CRIME TO BE THAT HANDSOME!! I DONT KNOW IF I WAS SCREAMING IN SECOND HAND EMBARRASSMENT OR IF I WAS SCREAMING IN EXCITEMENT!! (≧∀≦)

I’m sorry but I really cannot bring myself to like Tess. Any other girl in the series is fine but Tess? Why she gotta be so annoying?!

I really hope that this doesn’t become a romance of some sort. From what I’ve read so far its pretty much going in the direction of a harem type story because of all the female characters that gets really close to the main character (Also developing feelings for him).

I really hope it doesn’t become that way or else I’m gonna cry .

I just think there are too many action mangas and anime’s with romance. And I personally think that most of the time the romance kinda ruins the story by taking up most of the time or gets in the way of the real action that actually makes the story interesting.
