This is my theory.
I think Guwon is dead:
We all know the dead rise and are mindless/harmless right.
- He has Frankenstein-esque markings (tattoos?)
- blackened skin or more tattoos?
- A lot of important rings.
(I think he is either a bunch of dead bodies put together. Maybe patient zero that started the weird zombie like issue?)
- Smells sweet like figs (dead bodies smell sweet)
- He climbed out of rubble from a crushed building at the start.

If they accidentally get killed before they put the cassette in do they forget or is it just to save endings? I have always wondered if Doha would try to reset Bada or if Bada will reset Doha because he is slowing down the game play.
Bada is pretty serious about finishing the game but Doha has been suspicious for a while just trying to get time with Bada.
Is one of the tapes the one he collected from their first time together in the torture chamber when MC says take out the old tape and put in the new one or it won’t save your new progress, finds and endings. And he looked like it was such a waste and wanted it as a souvenir of the relationship progression. (He definitely pocketed it).
And usually they find a new tape and replace an old tape so what’s the other tape cause I don’t believe he had gone to the car yet unless he somehow managed it but one is the torture save and one is either another secret save or the car guys save.
I have, like many, wondered if MC is a NPC and doesn’t know.
But all this to say resetting save points could occur/could have previously occurred from ML and also ML had those two tapes in his bag I presume before retrieving the car cassette and so does that mean he can keep things from previous play throughs?
My other assumption was three people went missing and perhaps there are three real people stuck in the game bada’s cousin was super suspicious being able to discern things without his glasses as something with glasses I can see more than silhouettes at that distance (just seeing silhouettes and making guesses is crazy to me) but I would still be like “what you doing/what’s that you are playing with? *squint for a little clarity* a radio or a toaster or something?” Like I wouldn’t be like “why are you playing with a radio?”
Just saying he is a bit sus!
I didn’t know if it was cause the other two managed to escape the previous game or because they pulled out the tape from the car. Then MC suggests the same thing; remove the tape don’t let him have a save point and they won’t have to deal with explaining to him or his boyfriend every time they play.
(Probably not stating anything people haven’t already thought but just getting me thoughts out to hear other theories too)
