I swear this chapter just made me so sad for Anna and Ahrin. But especially Ahrin.

Ahrin so aware of how fucked her situation is, and is the only one in the family who seems to appreciate Anna as someone with value and potential and things to contribute (when Anna herself sees herself as incapable and incompetent :(. ). And it’s so sad because we the audience gets to see how both characters have what could help the other most (Ahrin could be Anna’s biggest ally and support her to finally take control of her life… and Anna has the ability to give Ahrin the unconditional parental love she was deprived of her whole life and desperately wants)… if only Anna didn’t hate Ahrin’s guts and Ahrin didnt use such creepy methods :,[

Love the series though. Absolutely adore it and get hyped every time it updates. But this scene…? SO dumb. Idk why we’re getting so unnecessarily dramatic over arboriculture.

Which sometimes works for her when they have a neat tree fact or smthn, but other times feels extremely contrived (an arboriculture tournament? Televised by a hospital? Hyped up to be unnecessarily high stakes? What in the corporate PR stunt absolute nobody asked for??!)

    This is pretty similar to sports and cooking animes that are heavily exaggerated and dramatic so I honestly don't mind. I love the enthusiasm and passion, I'm eating them all up. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

    Ahhhh… oh no I hate to say it but that’s probably why I’m not vibing with this subplot. Not a fan of the sports/cooking anime. Like, too unnecessarily intense? Like, the more the author tries to make it dramatic the less I give a shit whether the kids win the state ping-pong tournament or whatever . I wanna like em but…

Psychological short manga where boy sees his pedophile abusers as cripteds?

I read this manga a while ago where a boy is going around telling his friends that he was abducted by aliens, and that he saw Nessie and stuff, but in the end it turned out that the experiences he was describing were actually rape. Does anybody know what the title of this manga was? I can’t remember :(

    I just read this^ manga which is what reminded me of the story about the boy in the first place. It is a firsthand account of a person’s experience with childhood sexual abuse and how it effected them growing up. There’s nothing graphic in the story, but the situations and the confusion the lead experiences might be very triggering. It’s a painful read but it has a lot of heart and is worth checking out if you are okay with sad stories
