Man I hate drug tropes. If you need the mc to be high af just to be able to tolerate seeing the ML again, they shouldn’t be meeting
It’s so romantic when he kisses his feet. not even freaky I swear
If you don’t want him I’ll take him… *salacious palm rubbing*
Alright… I was certain that second ML was dead set on MC’s brother, with no intention of being with MC. Therefore, I’m hereby rescinding my earlier statement. THEY NEED TO FUCK
It’s been almost 10 years and I’m still scared to reread this. I still get that same guttural ache just thinking about it even after all this time.
ITS TIME GUYS OH MY GOOOOD ITS TIME HERE THEY COME
Ok I’m sweatin a little now… I still trust gangster dude will stick to the older brother, but it’s getting a little hotter in here…
The author is such a master at portraying psychological trauma and its effects on people and those around them. My only complaint is that I now have Mittens railing the crazy bastard permanently burned into my retinas. In all seriousness, incredible.
I’m really interested to see what voodoo ass sacrificial psychological mindfuck mental gymnastics is gonna have to be conjured to salvage Hangyul and Eunhan’s relationship
I thought Einar was going to die much sooner in the story, so when he didn’t, I completely forgot that it was a possibility. I thought we’d made it out of the woods. But in the last few chapters, when things started taking a turn for the worse, I bit the bullet and checked the status on its Wiki and—BOOM: “Deceased.” My soul left my body.
Einar didn’t have to die, and I don’t understand the purpose behind such a meaningless death for the story. There was no mourning, no reminiscence of brotherhood, no new lesson for Thorfinn—nothing. He was just gone. I guess that’s true to life in its essence, though; it goes on.
I feel like more could have been done before things ended. Canute had such a spectacular build up and was essentially non-existent in the final 100 or so chapters. Thorfinn, no longer plagued by the corpses of his making, could have had a final moment with his father after receiving their forgiveness.
Anyways. I just finished the series, so my disappointment is fresh, but I reckon I’ll come to understand and appreciate the ending with time. I’ll sit on it.
miscommunication tropes are so agonizingly frustrating JUST USE YOUR WORDS UGHHHGHHHGGH
y’all are just gonna have to trust me when I say I have a feeling this is gonna redeem itself
Gonna be pulling wheat out of their asses for the next few days…
I know I’m in denial but I genuinely refuse to believe that Guwon is nothing but a misunderstood innocent puppy
