I can see why Josh wouldnt. Chase is, as far as he knows, an unstable prick. I also would wihold my childs existence from a father with infinite resources and a star lawyer brother that is constantly on a dubious cocktail of drugs and kicks my friend out of a helicopter.
And on the selfish end, that it could cost him not just his job but ability to work at all, if Chase tried to fire him and told his boss that he's Omega, is also a fair enough point.
