idk she seems very self centered and maybe it's kinda of a power play on her own daughter? like see i can have this young man and he will not even look at you because i have him on a tight lesh thus i am better than you. like it can be a case with mentally unstable mothers to be envious of their daughters beauty and trying to own them in a sense
