And considering that there’s intel about kidnapped/trafficked omegas means the same, this type of business is widespread and there will be multiple operations doing this and one place where such crime happens, especially it’s involved criminals could make an incredible source of more intel to track down the rest of these criminals and their hostages.
They literally just beheaded the viscount who HAD that information and MC himself it's getting harder to locate the trafficked omegas.
So ML certainly hasn't helped. For story purposes I suppose they'll find them eventually. But how ML acted shows poorly on his character.
Yeah big on that. I was quite upset too that they killed the Viscount without getting more info out of him (and that Rishar killed all the thugs). And the fact that the uncle could be involved. I forgot his name but he is Etty's mom's brother. So I feel like it wasn't revealed for that plot point because that could bring the Herace family down and they won't do that until much later.
I think this is the first time I've seen ML actually care for MC? Author really needs to work on chemistry between these two
In his own way ML showed more than once that he likes the MC before chapter 34. They will never be really cheese and very sweet because one was raised by criminals and the other by a very cold and cruel lord father/leader of a noble sect but ML definitely likes MC. ML admited that he was ready to sent all the other royal concubines back but never him and then ML made MC leave the concubines's side of palace to be inside the royal side, making MC his favorite, so much so that all the other concubines have now to submitt to MC and ML's brother too has to call MC as "madame". Add to this that ML called MC "someone that belongs to him" and openly admit that he is jealous and possessive over him and that he is a bit frustreted that MC is not pregnant and there is no doubts ML is very much into MC. Plus ML wants to marry MC even if MC's father is an enemy and a threat and as MC's father said the fact that ML leave him live even if he was disrespectful is a demostratioon that ML is very much in love with MC.

Idrk if it's "chemistry", it's just that the main lead and the MC have never had an actual conversation with each other because the ml is insane and only cares about his obstruction, whereas the second male lead has no need to sleep with the MC so they can have normal conversations
