Can we all agree that regardless of who Dani ends up with the true love story of the series is between Dani and Yereong. The story literally starts with the two of them meeting (according to Dani's POV) and the majority of character growth for Dani revolves around her relationship with Yereong.

The story is about friendship more than it is about romance and I wish people would just enjoy that part of it instead of being focused only on the endgame.

I love the way the author switched the roles of the two girls this volume. Kei gets a powerful moment and Rei gets to be venerable. Loved seeing the development of both girls

I'm convinced that the way the artist draws ponytails just makes me think the character is annoying. Obviously the blue haired girl with the twin tails is supposed to look annoying but I've also started to think the FL looks stupid in the recent chapters due to her hair in that ponytail.

But jokes aside am I the only one that feels like the story is kinda falling into the same tropes it's making fun of, (Not the incest thank god) Examples include the FL magically being the best at everything and everyone loving her and being super overprotective for no real reason. Now that she's divorced there's no real direction for the story other than FL being better than twin tails.

Everyone is mentioning that the Crown prince seems like the best option for ML. Black haired guy is alright but he's barely in the story after his arc ended and I find his current role following her around kind of cringe. The crown prince has a fun dynamic with her and I just like him better, plus they remind me of Calisto and Penelope from Death is the only ending and I love that couple so I want to see more of the CP.

Was not expecting to like the ML this much in the first chapter but I really like him. He's sweet but socially awkward in a way that doesn't seem like just an excuse to justify him being mean at first. I've read too many series where the ML is a jerk that somehow gets redeemed because "he didn't know any better" and I'm glad this series doesn't push that and gives us ML being a cutie from the start.
Hope they don't force too much drama, it seems to be more of a feel good fluffy manga anyway.

The fact that the mother actually seems like a good person makes me so sad. Like we come to hate her from the backstory but based on the little glimpses we've otherwise gotten of her, (being friends with the empress, having an abusive family, giving up on life before meeting Le guen, being a good mother to og blonde girl, having a cute interaction with MC in latest chapter) I'm starting to sympathize with her. Her actions are still terrible, but it makes me so sad that her and MC will never be able to truly be a happy family living away from the drama of everyone, even while knowing she's the direct cause of that.

I was told the final episode was just uploaded so I caught up to this and am so disappointed. Like it started off so good and I have no clue what happened.

The main point of this story was the main leads falling for each other and helping the other out of their problems (sicknesses/poverty). But instead of ending it when ML brought her back and she accepts he loves her they decided to make the story about her being infertile and a shoe-horned taking the throne plot. We spent chapters of her thinking he will abandon her (again) even after he makes it clear he loves her only to have no actual resolve to that plot. She is worried because she is told she can't have children and then surprise, she's pregnant, it's not a problem anymore. No talking, no big moment when ML finds out about her infertility, no proving to her she truly will not be abandoned. They just go through a traumatic event and suddenly she believes he loves her (even though he has said he does and proved it with actions before and it wasn't enough). I mean is it just me or did they forget the entire point of the series in order to try and wrap it up with a happy ending.

I love how the ML immediately let's her know he wants to try loving her. It's so common for the couple to agree not to love each other and have problems with denying their feelings because of it. It feels really refreshing to have a couple that from the get go might not be in love but work towards it. It's also a really good representation of how love can come after marriage for people with arranged marriage opposed to the MLs parents never finding it because they never let themselves try loving each other (what I assume happened).
