As a story I think this was very well written, it has a lot of disturbing topics and shows certain harsh realities. I think people are quick to criticise it because of its dark theme but you have to understand that this isn’t meant to be read as a romance. It’s psychological and meant to be disturbing and in certain aspects make you uncomfortable. They’re both broken people who need help and personally I don’t think that being together is right for them but still it definitely left a bitter sweet end to the story, and proved that not everything has a happy ending.
