At the end of the story, in the author's notes, they literally say, "don't write BDSM as abuse". HOW can you be consciously thinking that and still write that first scene?!

"i'm gonna kill you" to -> "I'll kill you if you ever try leaving me" to -> "Kill me if you ever want to leave because I don't want to live without you"
The ML stays consistently unhinged. The MC is really weak but somehow NOT annoying at all.
I read this because of the psychological tag. The first few chapters really had me believing this was going to be an amazing murder mystery with a taboo romance. The Love Interest was either the MC's dead friend's crush OR his murderer—either way, this was set up to be something really juicy.
but then.. it just turned into a normal abusive relationship. You can find this in any bl.
FINALLY, JINYOUNG, MY HANDSOME STUD IS BACK IN THE STORY.
The story started off stupid, (toxic top, pushover bottom, obsessive behaviour, etc.)
But it seems to be progressively getting better. The background story is so good, it adds so much depth to all the characters/relationships in this story. I highkey wish it was a prolouge.
I love how this EASILY could've been a mutually beneficial relationship, but the author is like, "nope there MUST be abuse".
They both need each other and have the exact same goals! Why does one guy need to be using the other?
