I am not sure whether kayden really come to save gestella, he might come because there were another top 10 ranker he can trash again lol. Or maybe there was a tiny bit of him wanting to help gestella because he once been ganged up other top 10 together so he felt the empathy towards gestella orrrr might be because blue ask him to help gestella... I dunno, kayden is dense to honest...he friendzone gestella after giving that stupid almost confession like letter... Sometimes being strong does not make you have equal sense of EQ. The name gogi literally translated as meat >_<. That meat friend is an annoying but best friend ever. Suho really need this kind of friend.
Quite a lot of part in the novel is different from this adaptation. The earlier chapters does follow the novel closely. But towards the ending, the adaptation kind of steer away from the novel a lot. But this manhwa adaptation is much better and more engaging. I did laugh and even cried for this manhwa.
In the novel, Javier find suho back in just two chapter, he practically use the jewel of truth and asked for suho. There was nowhere in the novel he went on journey to find this dragon like this chapter. The novel ending was quite abrupt.
Plus, suho still live in that run down apartment and never have any progress in success. I though we are going to have few chapters left before this amazing manhwa end.
But in this chapter, he manage to work in conglomerate and even talked about his frontera life to his meat friend. Which is entirely different and more realistic. Even the screen also came out to be his parents. So this will be a very unexpected route for the endings. Hopefully the manhwa author do take time and revel things for the ending better than the novel. And maybe make side chapter to how suho able to work in conglomerate. Can't believe this manhwa will end soon （/TДT)/
It would be really cool to have an AU side story where Lloyd works at a company owned by Alicia's conglomerate, and Javier and the other characters like the orcs for example also works there in their respective departments. Lloyd and Javier could also be rival team leaders who are best buds/drinking buddies.
I second this, it's gonna be fun looking at them in modern setting and see how lloyd or suho become the annoying and full of scheme big boss but still being respected ヾ(☆▽☆)
I was 23 when I first read this, now I am already 33...my gosh, I probably need to wait for another 10 years before this manga ends. Can't even let this marinate before I binge reading it because of how long it takes for one chapter. Probably need it to be fermented....

One of the most intense arc and I think worth reading many times but this is taking too long. It's ongoing since 2002, means that this manga is already what 24 or 23 years old and I bet kyoko is still 17 to 18 years old, this is like reading detective conan, who have been how many years being small but still stuck at elementary or middle school...even the mangaka drawing start to look like I dunno, I cannot differentiate ren and other characters anymore.
She forgot what they look like atp and just draws them to be as generic as possible xD. Idk how old this lady is but she might just end up in the grave before she finishes the thing. It's definitely older than that because it was picked up by the current publisher in '02 I believe. It was released in the 90s iirc
Skip Beat started in 2002 - you can look it up. Tokyo Crazy Paradise was in the 90's, and it's also a fantastic story. The mangaka has some serious health issues and does her best. I buy the books, and they're better than the magazine releases, and yes, her drawing style has changed over the years - as happens to all artists. If you don't like it/don't have the patience for it, drop it... And Ren was never going to rape her - I'm not sure what you were reading, but he was never going to cross any line. They're dating and he still won't even kiss her. The Heel siblings were hilarious.
Well it's not a thing of health issues if your characters just look the same. TCP is also not great. The author is literally obsessed with pairing minors with old ass men. There was no need for all that constant nudity of a minor. Correct me if I'm wrong here but didn't this one guy with that robot panther or whatever that looked like Ren and (was considered the guy I think) lust after her because he was thirsting for her mom and they looked the same? Talk about creepy. Even the ml, he was basically getting groomed by older women coveting his power and status.
I also never said he would rape her, just that he was rapey. Bear in mind that the dynamic between those two is incredibly unhealthy. She's super inexperienced and most importantly a freaking minor. Their age gap is practically nothing in number, but in terms of mental development the gap is insane, especially because of Ren's life experiences. He does also manipulate her in heaps of ways to keep his jealousy tide over. That bed scene is incredibly wrong. I was guilty of the typical fan girl behaviour kicking my feet twiddlydiddlyda when it happened because I didn't realise at the time how bad it was, but then I grew a couple braincells and realised how incredibly wrong what happened was. Ren was stranding a minor giving her the clear indication that he was going to put a hickey on her chest. What he was thinking Vs what kyoko was thinking makes it all the more wrong. Y'all don't care to protect minors at all man that's insane. I don't even read this anymore because I hate everything about it. I loved this series and the pairing when I was younger, but this is not it.

the manhwa really capture tae kyung personality well. He kinda remind me a person that very annoying but do not have malice. Rude only to enemy, kind to people who are kind to him, very friendly to people who are friendly to him. Not overly confident when needed and very arrogant when needed too. He can be a good friend to many people if they treat him well or just kind to him. Overall he have the best balance personality among many murim mc I have read. Another person I found that have a bit similar to him is seo ryang from chronicles of demon faction, another good murim manhwa, recommended to binge read. But the reason I like murim login better is because this manhwa have good sense of comedy and seriousness which make it a gemヾ(☆▽☆) the novel is still incomplete though
