There is also the ancient mugo who gave our mc advice to bring sweets who we know nothing about not even the mugos seem to be aware of him. I wonder what does he represent or is he the og mugo who first got fragmented and has all his old memories. What was he? My theory is that he lost his lover and our mc is the reincarnation of that lover but none of the mugos remember him. So mysterious.

I believe the tree would make a better ml than edrion. It has more chemistry with lilith and edrion is just plain weird.
He has too much duality going is he a golden retriever or yandere character? The story does not make that clear. I vote for tree as ml
