isn’t the whole crux that no one can have a happy ending? nene and hanako are a story of what can never happen, mitsuba and kou of what almost/could have happened, some catch with aoiaoi i’m not seeing, etc. death and time are final, there’s no going changing it & that idea is repeated over and over again
I know that, but it doesn’t stop me from wishing for a happy ending for everyone — that’s why reincarnation or rebirth feels like the only solution.

Can’t believe it’s already been three years! I still wish they’d release an extra chapter — I keep rereading the manga every now and then, it’s just so cute and the chemistry is perfect!
