but its kinda of an older manhwa (NOT SUPER) like one of those u read the very first time stepping into thr manhwa world…
the villain has like red curly hair and the artstyle made it where she had like these like super thick juicy lips?!
the plot is probably a little similar to remarried empress where she tries to or probably stole the FL’s partner

i dropped this awhile back to let it marinate and came back as i saw it was ending…
so i may not have catched up on most of the lore but
i agree that mari was let off too easily, however reading the latest chapter, i dont understand the excessive hate train when Aisha herself has already “internally” forgiven mari and her first family and even giving her a chance to redeem herself. aisha is already known to have a really good & kind heart since her very first life and come to the terms that they had all been brainwashed.
from this chapter alone, it lowkey looks like mari has been manipulated by the demon itself as well from that pendant thingy (but idk cus like i’ve said i havent read the full story).
not to mention aisha rushed to try and save mari as well ( bless her soul T T) her brother wanted to protect them both and not let aisha d!e unfairly a second time hence he took her place and accompanied mari instead ( prob to make up tot mistreating mari too) so i feel that hes not intentionally taking Mari’s side… but these r just my thoughts

so after this chapter, all three of them (duchess, lizzy and fl) will get kidnapped by mercenaries hired by fl family. Fl would get abused by sophia again and will manage to escape by bribing kind mercenaries with her luxury items. Cliff (mls brother) would find capture ever bad person and rescue duchess and lizzy but not fl. he did not know fl was places in the basement (didnt bother checking properly). and assumed fl was a spy all along and helping her family and returns to their house. he reports this to the duke and ml who have returned from the war and all of them except ml and duchess believes him and puts up posters for fl being “wanted”. Fl manages to escape and survives by using the money she put in the bank while travelling from town to town until she was captured by the dukes guards. (Ml went searching for her). Fl gets thrown in the dungeon while they interrogates her and she loses her will to live while Lizzy tries to convince fl to beg for her life through the ml (fl doesnt). This causes fl to achieve her last condition of author losing their authority. while in prison, ml tries to prove her innocence. Lizzy heads down to the dungeon bringing fl hot packs to keep herself warm and questions fl why she didnt beg for her life and her tone changes and can be seen by fl. Lizzy then tried to frame fl by using a dagger to stab herself and cliff and ml heads down to see the commotion but ml proves that it was lizzy who did it to herself. it is revealed to readers that lizzy is the author of the story and she was an arrogant author who lost her fame. she commited and reincarnated into her own main character Lizzy and she has lived this life multiple times with multiple fls and she is in control. She then locks her self in the room while execution for fls family starts. they all go through terrible executions and sophia reveals tht fl is an illegitimate child hence the abuse. then she gets killed by ml. The assistant (rhynon?) proves her innocence to the duke and the rest of the family. fl is brought to get her wounds healed and rest. cliff then visits lizzy to profess his lowkey crazy love for her and lizzy realising that she has lost. after fl woke up she talked with lizzy and found out she was the author of this story and she was the 13th edith who managed to survive lizzy. lizzy explained that she summons dead souls for every edith that has lived. Lizzy is shown to have some kind of complex for not wanting to grow old and being the main character and edith gives her a wake up call. lizzy walks off unharmed though :(. cliff proposes to lizzy and they get married while it was stated that he was getting a little tired of lizzys demands and her dropping the innocent act. fl and ml moves to their region after attending their wedding.thats where i stopped and its a happy ending so far
to those saying hes not ready/immature, i feel like thats realistic because thats how relationships work irl?? like u grow as a person during the rs. its ironic how some of yall be talking about maturity when literally men in their 30s irl still act like a complete children. hes young and finding out what he likes.. give him a break
