That does not even make sense, I thought JJ would be this reckless money spending guy because he already was born rich, and why he was so oblivious about why Dan was so money desperate in the beggining if he already lived that situation before???

Dan has a lot of similar characteristics to his dad, like being an alcoholic, being heavily reliant on people (jj or his grandma), being unable to pick himself back up.
Obviously Dan isn’t as bad as his dad but seeing someone living like his dad probably triggered jj to act more insensitively. Like he doesn’t want to get attached to another person that has the same self destructive habits as his dad.
Another thing, jjk probably saw a lot of his old “pitiful” self in Dan. Again triggering him. Jj is seeing his old self through Dan, but jj somehow feels superior because now he can look at it from a higher position.
It’s like when you see someone acting like how you used to before you matured and it icks you out, that’s basically what jj is seeing.

Im a lesbian, and even with my mother aproval (she has no prejudice) she often speaks about the wish to have grandchildren some day, and thats something I cant give to her

Yep, to be honest "your child" will be the child you decide to raise, doesn't matter where it came from, to them you'll be their parents after all
(what i mean is let's not go with society's weird social norms about "purity of pregnancy" (aka "it's not really your child if the both of you didn't created it by combining both of your DNA") that's just bullshit and even harms heterosexual couples that can't make children, so if you fell for sure belief, try to see things in a different way, you'll share 99,9% of your DNA anyway, i think that's enough to call them yours ~^~

what /i/ mean is a baby born of artificial insemination would /biologically/ be your child. you're missing part of the problem that involves his dad not wanting their /bloodline/ to go extinct. artificial insemination can privide a blood relative with no strings attached for the doner and the surrogate mother. i understand if /you/ personally dont wanna go through child birth, i don't either. im merely saying theres options other than adoption

Ah yes of course!
I don't really understand such concept since in my eyes, humanity already shares more than 99.9% of its DNA, so it's just a social concept that holds no real value in my eyes!
But!! Historically speaking it has been a concern for some families like the medicis, so my bad, i should have thought about it you're right
I started reading this in my tennage years, and now Im a adult and they are finnally officially a couple
