I read a few comments and, to be honest, I think the hate for the translator is unwarrented. Im a bit of a gossip hound and the sassy notes made the experience more fun for me.
[EDIT]: HOWEVER, I do think they should've released a version without the notes, or perhaps kept the notes to the end. I would be interested in reading all of their thoughts, but I seem to be in the minority.
I dont think what they say should be interpreted as a wholly damning, they clearly have some commitment to this series. I too would feel insane if I had committed years of my life to translate Sadistic Beauty (for free) and had grown attached to a character who got a noncon spinoff.

Definitely agree. I did just wanna get on and finish the chapters, but the texts always made me inclined to read, and it took longer to get through the first half. But they were really insightful and just showed a lot of thoughtfulness towards the mc who was just miserable. I'd also like to see if there were more notes that wasn't provided in the rest of the chapters, it would be nice to see an extra chap or something of it like you said

NOO.. I liked Mrs.Kurebayashi, but I understand her motives. She seems empathetic, so I hope she may come to regret this choice later in the story.
The juxtaposition between her and Tanaka is interesting. Kurebayashi was initially presented as an adult whom the main characters can trust, while Tanaka was framed as an antagonist. Tanakas motives are still questionable, but its interesting how their roles have flipped (as of now).
If we are reading the connection between people and impurities as partly a queer allegory, this gives the presentation of their characters as initially trustworthy/non-trustworthy adults some layers...
I am calling it now, and I would bet money on it. Tanaka is Kurebayashi’s son. I love how their positions are juxtaposed like you pointed out.
What if the organization threatened to hurt Tanaka so she had to give Hikaru up. All she ever said was that her son was mixed, moved away, & didn’t like her much.
And a few chapters ago we learned that Tanaka knows her. His blindness and scar could be the “irreparable mixing/injury” of Iori that Ms. Kurebayashi mentioned.
