i dont think the plot of this story is the strongest, but it is pretty well written. the ending left much to be desired which is a shame because everything pre-xiaodu-punching-wangqi was really good and strong, but maybe the authors were tired of producing the story or had to suddenly change gears. the whole tattoo storyline is hard to make sense of. i’m assuming (and this is probably wrong) that xiaodu being the snail girl is the reason for his supernatural memories of song yue and wang qi’s argument over the scalpel. the scalpel thing is probably related to that witchcraft shop that mingming (wangqi’s ex) frequented often. wang qi said that if you write the name of your crush on it and share blood (or something??) then you’ll be in love forever. its then very VERY briefly mentioned thag xiaodu happened to cut himself on the scalpel (maybe before wang qi got a chance to?). anyway i started reading this in like 2021 and then dropped it for 4 years. came back now and i was enjoying it so much until i slowly became more and more confused. the art is still really pretty tho and i really like how realistically and healthily the characters are written.

looking for a BL manga that started as a 4-koma comedy about a game developer working under his favourite game dev, eventually the plot kicks in and they get stuck in the games that their studio made. the mc is nerdy looking and the ml is very bulky and has long hair with a pointy ahoge. does anyone know this manga?

this is a free story. z-pico is doing all the work solo and delivering gorgeous art and a good plot as well. i think its sort of entitled to be upset over how long this story has been going for. theres no push for chapters because again, the author is working for free and if they wanted to do paid serialization you’d definitely see a drop in quality compared to if they continued to work at their own pace.

why r we so upset that yoshiki doesnt exactly have romantic feelings for “hikaru”? have we for once remotely considered that the entire premise of the manga is dissecting the horrifying ordeal of having the body of your loved one stolen and transformed into something you do not know? and then you have to live literally haunted by their face, their voice, their mannerisms but KNOW that they are no longer there. yoshiki’s feelings about “hikaru” are honestly quite optimistic considering the circumstances. i think ppl r just upset their ship might not be canon. stop tunnel visioning on whatever semblance of romance there might be between “hikaru” and yoshiki and read the manga! god- please.

the heartfelt conversation while this man is being sexed up by seungbeom who genuinely believes he’s about to crack his ex, the tarot reading clocking jinhyeong so bad he apologised to the eco student. bro this manhwa is funny on so many levels and so relatable as someone studying a very week degree in the job market now im just depressed…

couple years ago everyone was singing this manga’s praises for its occult themes. i dont really think this is hard to understand if you just read it? hizuki (the teacher) is possessed by one of the twin spirits of the sogetsu shrine (the male one, akatsuki who was some what of a god) and because of that he is now able to see ghosts, curses, apparitions etc. and also had a charming effect. u can blame bad writing if you want but its sort of all there for you to figure out. the whole rape/dub-con thing is usually par for the course with horror BL, think of black mirror BL manhwa. i’m not trying to excuse it or anything, but its just interesting to me how much everyone switched up on this. lol

i think people who find this plot boring just dont like manwha that require you to actually read and remember things about the characters. the political aspect of this plot is what makes the main character’s actions make sense. he is power hungry because he’s had to do so much dirty work under someone else’s orders (rep lee). he’s working toward a promotion that will give him jurisdiction over the district if he succeeds with the redevelopment. who does he need to get through to do that? our main lead (who i think is named once through that one panel in his office). incheol is already neglecting his current lover and has cheated on her with pyeonghwa for the sake of politics.

but i guess we want to neglect an intriguing plot with interesting characters to just skip straight to the smut like 99% of all other BL manhwa on this site
