I'm glad for Tiararose that Aquasteed cares for her so much but doesn't that guy realise that she MIGHT have issues with the side chick? I mean he sorta got it that she might be jealous of what was her name? But only sorta. Damn dude, she got stood up at a fricking ball in front of a crowd! Wouldn't that make everyone insecure? Step your game up or I'm rooting for the King.

I see a lot of comments about Charti leading the 5th Prince and I agree that she is at fault but only partly. Remember how the misunderstanding between the crown prince and irene hasn’t been exposed to everyone in the series. As readers we know but the characters don’t lmao so I guess that’s where our frustrations are coming from.

When you look at it Charti’s also not in the clear here. To her there’s a lot of gray area with her relationship with the crown prince. Yeah he overtly shows her affection but to her and to everyone else HE IS IRENE’S LOVER. They’re a couple. So it’s clear how she can be reserved when it comes to giving up her feelings for him. I think that’s where Cailanden(?) comes into play.

1. He’s single.
2. He’s hella nice and charming; He’s sweet to Charti.
3. He also doesn’t know that there’s nothing between the crown prince and that bitch.

From the 5th Prince’s perspective, a woman like Charti even if she were a regina, with the higher chance of being empress, is someone whom he can have feelings for freely because again..they think bitchrene is with the crown prince.

So he doesn’t really have to be reserved with his feelings. Like why was said by bitchrene in the first few chapters he can have a relationship with Charti provided they ask permission from the Crown Prince.

The crown prince has his fingers tied here atm with that bitch irene and that bitch empress so unless he finds a trump card to counter those fucktards he can’t fully claim Charti as his own.

Ray said that he's a neutral spirit. Meaning he could be totally evil or very good depending on his master's character. It's interesting to see how he'll turn out to be under Jeanie's influence.

I'm really unsure who to like in this story at all. Should I like the female lead, who doesn't seem to have matured a day past thirteen, because she's strong and beautiful? Should I like the emperor, who's killed people without remorse, just because he's pitiful and under immense pain? Should I like the Kayn of the present, who's portrayed far too sweetly for this story to continue this smoothly? I don't know how the story will unfold, but it makes me wonder.

Penelope is one of the best FL I’ve ever seen. Her unforgiving and analyzing attitude, knowing when to be prideful and knowing when to beg, she’s truly such a nice change. Her character seems to surpass most novels ‘2D’ feeling y’a know? It feels so much more authentic relatable and real and my emotions are much stronger towards this novel, and I’m thriving off of her standing up for herself and Eclis. I absolutely adore this. One of the best.

I love the uke!!! He respects himself so much. Like he loved seggs with ahjushi and was tempted but he still said no bcz it geniunely hurts. I have never ever seen a yaoi with such a scenario .like immense respect for both the characters and the writer who wrote this story. I really hope that the seme learns few things about gay sex, bcz an asshole is not like a vagina. It hurts so fucking much , and with a big size as his. He didn’t even use lubricant . I read this all in one day and I legit cried so hard when he passed floor 10 and when he went back over and over again to explain himself to Marcus/Sword Saint. He looked so heartbroken, having to relive and overwrite even good experiences. The panel that compared Marcus'/Sword Saint's face of trust and distrust broke me. Not only is he taking a lot of psychological damage from his skill but he seems to have realized that this new skill comes with a lot of baggage and as a "good" person, his new skill can break him and he needs to hold on. This is so good and I'm just waiting for him to gain companions because this kind of baggage feels like it is too much. My heart...

Okay, yes, problematic and cursed AF but why the writing gotta be kinda good??? Like, why did it make me cry????? For example:

"As a young boy, Jotarou experienced a love that felt like the world was ending..."

AND THEN

"In the country of the sun, they experienced a love that felt like the world was beginning."

Not me reading the first line and promptly getting my heart broke. It really do be fitting for those types of loves that really can't work out, like this one. Also, I adore angst, and seeing it come outta nowhere in this uber smutty comedic and problematic DJ like???? What?? What is happening? Where am I?
