This is a pretty cool concept for isekai mangas. But the twins do be pretty stupid for 23 year olds. (like yah i get that you were abused and fear people blah blah blah) They literally show all their emotions on their face like (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜

I just feel that for someone who has been abused and are "afraid to establish a closeness with others" they are very quick to trust the evil character. Lmao the girl is literally crushing on a kid (when her mental age is like 23) like ???? The author really dumbs them down in certain situations to fit the narrative.

I'm kind of sick of the idea of the villainess FL always trying to run away and hide in some corner of the world living the cottagecore life. Like we need stronger FL's like the hourglass FL like an actual villainous who succeeds through her evil means after turning back time!

While I'm not tired of this trope yet I kind of want one of someone who read a whole bunch of these stories and then gets reincarnated. But instead of starting from the very beginning they more or less stay the villain because their "research" (aka all the reincarnation books they read) shows how they always majorly change the story and gain unwanted lovers etc.
I want a FL who's still a jerk, but not an asshole because while they're trying to stick to the story they're still their own person and cant really order someone to be killed and stuff. And then when they get to the climax of the story they sag and sigh and say "finally" because now they can live that quiet life they wanted and reveale to everyone they were simply playing a role they didnt want to in order to survive or something.
Like if the ML has his sword to her throat about to kill her she just starts crying tears of joy and says she hated who she needed to be but had to in order to make sure everything worked out.
Then we get the story of her living her life somewhere simple, but everyone she wronged is constantly watching her because they dont believe her and stuff

I'm interested but you lost me in the second part, how "confessing" she only played a role is supposed to work? She is only going to be beheaded at that pace.
Probably the closes to this concept are:
"My lady just wants to relax"
"Lady Rose wants to be a commoner"
"The Daughter of the Albert House Wishes for Ruin"
" Now That I've Been Chosen to Be the Villainess, I'll Show You an Elegant Performance!"
"A Red Rose Devoted to You"
"For Certain Reasons, the Villainess Noble Lady Will Live Her Post-Engagement Annulment Life Freely"

Well I'm thinking of having a few "background" characters she actually spared come forward and exclaim how they thought she was different in (blank) moments.
Like in this story the OG girl orders the little boy to be murdered and no one would really think twice. But her being kind is making everyone panic.
So maybe a few maids who weren't punished as harsh as they were supposed to. Some commoners who she actually helped when no one was looking. And maybe a war general or two who she helped out with obvious modern world ideas come forward to all vouch for her.
Idk it was just a thought I had.
Maybe it could also be that the day things "set" she simply disappears (like she actually saved money and books it instead of how these comics have the girls abandon the runaway idea instantly).
And the comic could end with them finally "finding" her, but what they found is her grave in a small town where she was loved by everyone. We hear stories the townsfolk say about her and her generosity. No one can believe it (you know cause she was such a b*tch to them all), and then they all meet some of the kids she helped care for and they tell them about the stories she'd come up with. Their favorite being her own story of a girl from the future being reincarnated into a villain and staying the villain because she wanted the story book characters to be happy.
Then in the last few panels we get a sort if "angel beats" ending where now all the medieval characters are reborn in modern society, and as they're walking to school a girl from another school passes by them and one of them turns to look at her. But she's reincarnated in her own OG body not the villainess body so nothing clicks with they hear her say/see her do something she used to do.
Or same thing but this time shes a new girl at their school.

I guess my idea was more of the realist idea that as someone who knows the flow of the novel/ story and is now born into a position of privilege (like that of the villainess), would it not be more logical that you still try to retain your power? Of course, the ML can go screw themselves (most of the original ML from the 1st life are assholes anyways).
As in I do understand the idea of "oh they didn't do me wrong, I won't hurt them", but that is quite stereotypical of these reborn/ isekai FL. I don't mind reading more of those selfish/ petty Fl's like Aria. And it is not the idea of revenge but more of wanting to retain the position that she is already born with.

I do understand the story, but I am talking about the isekai genres as a whole. Also I would like to see how one would write from the angle of a self-centered villain. (because most humans do have some form of selfish desires and it makes it more relatable)
I personally don't believe in the defined moral grounds of good and bad, some deeds are definitely worse than others but there will be reasons for why someone did a particular deed.

But if she continued acting as how the original villainess did she gonna suffer the same fate just like the original FL. You can retain your power without being a bitch and killing/punishing innocent people over petty crimes. Yes the way they act is very stereotypical but also realistic. Think about it yourself if you was the one who had gotten reincarnated as the villainess would you act exactly like how the villainess did even knowing thats by acting evil is how the villainess died? She can still be a strong FL without having to act Selfish or petty.

Well it really depends since people say she is a fake princess and if she really was the fake princess and the red haired girl is the real one then it would be hard for her to fight for her position as the princess since it isn’t rightfully hers. Which is why I believe the FL see no point in fighting for her position since it isn’t her. Of course it gonna be shown later on that she is indeed a princess and that position is rightfully hers. But it’s understandable that she would wanna play it safe instead of triggering something and possibly be banished or Executed.

Yepp it is understandable, and I am not talking about this manga specifically but just in general it would be nice to see ahhaha But I know this FL will def be a badass once she starts fighting back. (also it is entirely plausible the red head is the puppet for the evil people and is a genuinely nice person)
What if it is the dad instead of Sangmin? They are both assholes :p
