I expected more for their reason or justification. But the stepmom and her guard didn’t seem to have that good of a reason to be that level of evil. It’s lacking. Also for her brother to not notice her change in demeanor or injuries just sounds absurd. Like it’s just for the sake of the plot lol dropping this shi
